I am a registered social worker with a masters degree in social work from the University of Manitoba and additional graduate level training in marriage and family therapy from the University of Guelph. I have completed training in Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy with Dr. Sue Johnson, founder of Emotionally Focused Therapy, the leading, evidence-based model of couple therapy. I am dedicated to ongoing training and supervision to continue to develop my knowledge and skills and remain current with new research and best practices in the field.
I have experience working with a diverse client base including interfaith, multicultural, LGBT and blended family couples. I help couples struggling with challenges including loss of connection, betrayal, resentment, conflict, and a loss of intimacy. Through my work in a variety of clinical settings I have discovered my greatest interest and passion is working with couples to help them to strengthen, repair and find security, connection and fun within their primary relationship.
I have two office locations. One is in the East end of Toronto at 212-674 Kingston Rd. The second is in the Mind Health Toronto group practice at Yonge and Lawrence. I also see couples in the comfort and convenience of their own homes within the cities of Toronto and Scarborough.
